Harvey Set To Play In PG All American GameChris Harvey is set to showcase his skills in the single biggest national all star game in the country this Sunday, August 14th on CBS Sports. The Perfect Game All American Game formally known as the AFLAC All American Game has the best players in the country showcase their skills against each other in the nationally televised game. Harvey a 2012 rising senior from Germantown Academy has given his verbal commitment to Vanderbilt University. The 6 foot 5 inch catcher is an imposing figure on the field. As a member of Baseball U for the past three seasons he has helped Baseball U to a USA Labor Day Cup 3rd place finish in 2009, a 5th place finish at the WWBA Underclass World Championships in 2009 and this year at the summers biggest event a 3rd place finish at the Perfect Game WWBA 17U National Championships. According to Chris Harvey, “Baseball U has provided him with not only a fun experience but the ability to compete against other top teams and players in the country and prove to the rest of the country that a group of northeast all stars can compete against anyone and come out on the winning end.” Chris Harvey PG All American Profile Two other members on the team that have competed with Baseball U are Rhett Wiseman who is also attending Vanderbilt and was on the Prospects team last year out at the PG WWBA NE Qualifier and Keon Barnum who played for the Prospects team down in Jupiter at the PG WWBA World Championships. Keon is ranked as the nation’s number one first baseman. The game can be seen live on Sunday, August 14th at 5PM PDT on the CBS Sports Network. |
