Baseball U alumni sophomore Mike Papi (Tunkhannock, PA) and freshman Joe McCarthy (Scranton, PA) each hit home runs against Harvard University helping Virginia stay undefeated at 11-0.

Between both Papi and McCarthy they accounted for 7 runs batted in while scoring 3 in the 10-4 win over Harvard.

Papi was a member of the 2010 Baseball U Prospects who finished 5^th at the Perfect Game WWBA 17U National Championship team and Joe McCarthy was a member of the Prospects team who finished 3^rd at the same event in 2011.
