Kranick To Join 4 Other U Players at UVA

Baseball U is fast becoming a houshold name in Charlottesville, Virginia. Over the past four years Baseball U has started their Road to Georgia trip at UVA and Coach O'Connor has to be more than happy that they do.

Mike Papi a 2011 Alumni of Baseball U lead the nation in on base percentage this year and earned First Team All ACC and All Amercian honors. Joe McCarthy a 2012 Alumni of Baseball U earned ACC Rookie of the Year.

This year three more Baseball U current members have given their commitment to UVA. The amazing thing about the three verbal commitments from this year is that they all will be back next year in 2014 to play again for Baseball U. The summer started with Jonathan Meola a 2015 shortstop from Toms River East High School and at the same time Jake McCarthy 2015 OF from Scranton HS in Pennsylvania and brother of Joe McCarthy (ACC Rookie of the Year) giving their verbal commitments to UVA.

The latest is Max Kranick who is a 2016 Grad from Valley View HS in Pennsylvania. Max is getting better every day on the mound. While at the Perfect Game WWBA Underclass World Championships he shut out Team Victus (Brooklawn Legion) while consistantly sitting 87-88MPH.

With the signing of Max Kranick the Baseball U name will be known to many fans until at least until 2019 when Max will most likely become a drafted pitcher out of UVA.
