Baseball U New Jersey Fall Tryouts

Baseball U will be holding their 2014 Fall Tryouts this August. Those interested should read the following information.

Baseball U has helped over 257 players the past 8 years move on to college. During the past 6 Major League Baseball Drafts the team has had 57 players selected in the draft. This is more than any other organization north of Virginia. If anyone claims to have more ask for the list of players and you can see ours here.

We are not a Travel Organization but we are a College Development Program!

There are many programs that play players down from their graduation grade in high school and base it on age. This is counter productive and their focus is on winning championships rather than developing a player. We feel that if a player can compete at a high level their development will be hightened by playing up.

If a player proves that he is playing at a higher level why hold back his deveopment as a player. We understand that everyone grows at different times and speed and strength is a big factor in a players development.

With our new state of the art facility coming in 2014 our players will have the ability to work out on full infields and be able to hit inside year round and work on their skills. Our players will not be throwing into a net in a cage but able to have full pro style workouts at every age level indoors.

There is such value in seeing the flight of the baseball. Often a player thinks they are hitting the ball hard and far but top spin and bottom spin play a big factor. Our facility will allow our players to see the flight of the ball and exactly what is happening with their swing.

We will have a full speed, strenght and agility area for the players to develop into well rounded athetes.

We will be growing our teams to various age levels. Our professional staff will now be training players of all ages but our teams are now expanding into the youth levels and we will be holding tryouts for 8U through 18U. We are also going to have a program for players next summer that are moving on to college that will help them be ready for college in the fall of their freshman year. This program will have workouts to help them develop and become stronger.

Our facility will be the home to Major League Baseball tryouts as well as house many players already playing professional baseball preparing them for their spring training. One of the best ways to learn is by watching baseball at it's highest level and we will make sure that our players are watching these MLB players practice before they leave for spring training.

At Baseball U winning is not our focus but we have won plenty of trophies in the largest national events. Baseball U has won 4 Perfect Game WWBA Northeast Championships the past 8 years and has had 4 top 16 finishes at the Perfect Game WWBA Underclass World Championships. In 2010 the team had a 5th place finish at the Perfect Game WWBA National Championships in Georgia and in 2011 the team finished 3rd in the country at the Perfect Game WWBA World Championships. Baseball U has been to Jupiter each year showcasing some of the top talent in the country. The organization has won countless championships at other events but the foucs remains on helping a player to develop for the next level.

Of the 57 Baseball U Alumni drafted Baseball U has had 4 first round draft picks. With the placement of 257 players in college an amazing 30 of them have went on to play in the ACC and SEC conferences since 2011. That is more than any other program north of Virginia. Speaking of Virginia Baseball U has had 5 players that have committed to UVA the number 1 team in the country. Currently Mike Papi (1st Team All American) and Joe McCarthy (ACC Rookie of the Year) are helping them to this number 1 ranking.

Baseball U currently has 11 Division 1 players competing this year on it's 2015U team showing that the teams showcasing techniques work.

Interested players should fill out a prospective player form. These players must be from the ages 8U-18U. Players must not be higher than the graduation class of 2015.
