Westyn Baylor a RHP out of Bangor, Pennsylvania has given his commitment to Radford University a member of the Big South Conference.

Baylor a 6’3 pitcher has a good downward plane and advanced confidence to throw his changeup for a strike in any count.

A pitcher for Lehigh Valley Baseball Academy for most events, Baylor joined Baseball U late this fall to prep himself for Jupiter with the team. He drew attention from other colleges at the Baseball U vs. Brookdale College game.

One of his top schools on his list was Radford University. The team made a phone call and spoke to Brian Anderson (recruiting co-coordinator) Anderson and Assistant Coach at Radford had not seen Baylor prior. Coach VanPelt a former All-Big South Player at Radford and member of the Baseball U coaching staff made another call to Anderson and with a good showing this past weekend at Radford Baylor verbaled to them.

Baseball U takes pride in their relationships with the colleges and has now added Radford University out of Virginia to their 2011 Winter Workout staff.
